The annual DC Fly-in recently occurred with representatives from 19 state snowmobile association speaking to over 200 members of Congress about snowmobiling in their state, according to a American Council of Snowmobile Association news release.

"Members of Congress were just returning from their spring break, so it was an opportune time to remind them of the importance of snowmobiling in their state," said a representative of the American Council of Snowmobile Associations in the news release.

The members of Congress, also, discussed current issues of debate that impact snowmobiling.

"Meeting with members in DC is very important -- and often opens the door for more interaction back in the district," said the representative.
