    Racers start registering for I-500

    The USXC I-500 has 50 racers registered so far for the Feb. 11 race, according to SC Times. The event will start in Winnipeg and end, three days later, in Willmar's Robbins Island Park. There are 250 to 300 racers expected to register by the time of the race. The original race was launched in 1966. This race will run 600 miles.     Kamm DQ'd from Round 1

    Kody Kamm has been disqualified from Round 1 of the ISOC AMSOIL Pro Open snocross season, according to the AMSOIL Championship Snocross official website. Several websites are reporting the disqualification was due to Kamm's sled failing a post-race inspection after the Pro Open Final Saturday night. AmSnow has not yet confirmed this.     Minnesota Trails to open December 1

    The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will officially open the trails December 1 if certain requirements are met. The ground must be frozen allowing for crossing wet areas. Trails must have about 12-inches of snow on the ground to allow for trail packing and grooming.
