Hay Days, "The Official Start to Winter," will kick off this Saturday in Sunrise Township, Minn.
Vendors will begin setting up this Friday, Sept. 9.
The event will include all four OEMS showcasing their 2012 line-up, vendors galore, grass drags, swap meet and snowmobile expo.
Sno-Barons, the host of Hay Days, will be celebrating their 45th year as a snowmobile club at this year's event.
Hay Days is expected to have around 30,000 people turnout, according to Sno-Barons' website.
Parking plans for this year have been updated to accomodate the larger crowds. Parking in the Sno-Barons' lot is free entering through Gates 1 or 2 on the south side of the race site.
Other parking will be available in the neighboring areas for a fee.
AmSnow's team will be in full attendance this year. Our tent will be at EF6, which is five rows over from the racing start line and close to the swap meet.
Also in attendance will be FOX shocks. FOX is inviting owners to bring their shocks to Hay Days for a seasonal service by FOX's expert technicians. FOX technicians will recharge or rebuild shocks at the event. They will be located near Hay Days Expo 2 Freestyle area.
This year's Hay Days grass drag races will be run by Black Jack Racing.
The Sno-Barons have donated $55,000 as a bonus purse for the Hay Days Grass drags, this puts the total purse at over $65,000, according to Black Jack Racing.
One Stop Performance has teamed up this year with Pink Ribbon Riders at the Hay Days event. In addition, one of their customers is flying in from Iceland to race at the grass drags. The Iceland customer owns last year's Hay Days record setting sled.
