Despite harrowing travel woes, lost luggage (including all our snow gear), and a blizzard in West Yellowstone, the AmSnow team made it through Snow Shoot where we photograph and test all the 2013 models for you. You'll start seeing our reports on line and in next season's magazines. Each year we hook up with the Big 4 manufacturers and ride roughly 50-60 new sleds in four days. This is where we do comparison testing, plus individual sled reports for the coming season. Our ace photographer Kort Duce wades chest deep in snow to get you the best photos and both our trail and mountain team suck it up no matter the weather to get you reliable information and impressions.Blah, blah, blah .... I know that sounds sort of promotional, but we want to make sure you know we're not just goofing around on these shoots. Having fun? Yes, but not goofing off.I shot some video of the new machines, so you'll see that online once we get some time to edit it down. So watch upcoming newsletters and the web site for that. We'll also start posting new 2013 model photos as our photos of the day and week, to help you decide what you're looking for next season. Oh, and a quick reminder that our subscribers can go online starting today and see everything in the Spring issue. Newsstand buyers have to wait a couple weeks for copies to appear in stores. Digital issues also can be purchased now via www.AmSnow.com/digitaleditions.We're glad to be back home, with luggage to boot!
