Daniel Bodin won X Games Snowmobile Best Trick final on January 27 in Aspen, Colo. with an Indian air backflip.
Joe Parsons came in second with Heath Frisby rounding out the top three.
Parsons won the silver with his gator hater move, and he was disappointed with the judges' ruling.
"I guess when you do something brand new, it doesn't count for anything. (This is) the first time I've ever tried it and I flawlessly executed it. I'm just glad I did what I came here to do," Parsons said to ESPN.
Parsons medal count climbed to 12, making him the second highest in Winter X Games history behind Shaun White.
Moto X crossover and X Games rookie, Jackson Strong attempted a body-varial variation named "The Jack."
During Strong's first attempt, he crash-landed and the snowmobile went into the crowd. It eventually ran into the fence. A spectator caught in the collision had his right knee evaluated on site before being released. The spectator's father said his son was not hit by the snowmobile.
