Two-time defending, Mike Schultz won the gold medal in the Snowmobile Adaptive Snocross by less than two seconds over Doug Henry.

Schultz crashed in the first turn allowing Doug Henry, who is partially paralyzed from the waist down,  to grab the hole shot.

Jim Wazny, amputee and two-time medalist, was right on Henry.

Schultz swung his prosthetic leg back over his sled and went from last to first.

"How about that for some excitement?" Schultz said after the race to ESPN. "I'm like, 'Oh, man! I've got some work to make up here.' I didn't know if I was going to be able to catch (Henry)."

    Final Results:
    1 Mike Schultz         4:51.882
    2 Doug Henry        4:53.151
    3 Garret Goodwin    4:58.204
