Twenty-something Detroit, Mich. residents are on a mission to bring ESPN's Summer X Games to their hometown, according to Autoweek.

Kevin Krease, 27, and Garret Koehler, 26, have worked the last several months to submit for Detroit's bid, and on Tuesday they made their pitch.

The bid is to host  X Games from 2014-2016.

The duo needs to come up with around $7 million in corporate sponsorship commitments. ESPN would cover the remain costs of the event, around $15 million -$20 million.

Krease and Koehler released this video about their bid.
