    FXR Helmet Review

This helmet is very light and very easy to slip on and off. It has a very comfortable fit with a removable, washable liner. It has a one piece nose guard which makes it easy to fit goggles into. Also an easy latching chin strap with one pull easy release.  The high speed engineered lift reduction visor also works great on a sunny day. The diffuser on the rear of the helmet helps transfer impact load if needed. The clean flow air ventilation make the helmet breath when riding hard.  I e...

Gear Review: FXR Mission X Jacket & Bibs

Posted 13 days ago by mboncher
After almost 1000 miles on my new FXR Mission X Jacket and bibs I can say that it is some of the warmest gear I have ever owned. We spent the last week up in the northernmost reaches of the Midwest testing daily in temps that did not break 0 and windchills that were often 30+ below zero.  This suit kept me warm and dry in the harshest temps and demanding aggressive on-trail and off-trail riding.  The detachable hood on the jacket was a surprisingly nice feature and kept my h...

Women’s Charge G2 Castle jacket review

I recently returned from several days of riding in sub zero temps. For the first time ever was warm enough. YES! The women’s Charge G2 Castle jacket rocks. Here are a few of the features I loved.  The zippers didn’t get in my way and there are lots of pockets to stash my stuff. The fuzzy lining around the cuffs and neck kept me comfortable and toasty all day long. And, the lycra hand gaiters kept the wind out.  I also loved that the jacket is long enough to cover my bum an...

Thankfully, so were the racing studs on all the tracks of the racer's and during the final WC there was not a single accident. This was miraculous and a testament to the excellent driving skills of these racers as the snow dust on the ice-oval was blinding and the night lights made the whole track look like a pixelating video game.
