    Polaris announced the recall of 2017 Polaris RMK, Pro-RMK, and SKS snowmobiles sold at Polaris dealers nationwide from May 2016 through March 2017. The recall involves a weld on the steering post that can separate, resulting in loss of steering control and posing a crash hazard. So far Polaris has received 13 reports of a steering post weld separation, but no injuries have been reported.     ISR Sets New Pro Open Snocross Rules

    Big changes are coming to Pro Open Snocross racing for the 2017-18 season.  At the ISR meeting this past week in Bloomington, Minn., it was announced that for next season all Pro Open sleds will be required to run the “stock” Pro Lite engine and chassis.     According to its recently released financial report, Polaris Industries Inc. sales totaled $1,153.8 million in the first quarter of 2017, up 17% from $983.0 million for Q1 of 2016.
