Just a few short weeks now and the crew here at AmSnow will be heading out to Western New York to the annual New York Shootout near Old Forge, New York in the little town of Woodgate.  This is one of our most favorite events of the year as it is really our first chance to get out and put the new 'box stock production' sleds through the paces. This year many of the regular characters will be there including Jim Czekala, owner of Dynotech and our official dyno tester of the new stock sleds. George Taylor is also lending a huge helping hand this year with much of the coordinating and logistics of the event.  The exact stock sleds that will be at the Shootout will not be released until closer to the event.

You will also see familiar dealers at the event this year including the boys from D&D Racing, Smith Marine, White Lake Polaris, Ed Fredericks and Sons Arctic Cat and more. Aftermarket companies most likely including D&D, One Stop Performance, Bikeman Performance, CJ Motorsports, and more will be on hand

    with some awesome modified sleds.

This year Mack Studs will be the official traction sponsor of the event and being from New Hampshire, these guys are keyed in to the local scene.  Look for possible giveaways and product at the event!  Spectro oils w

ill also be at the Shootout.

The event takes place on Friday December 9th this year.  Like always, it will be held at the White Otter Fish & Game Club in Woodgate, N.Y. and is covered exclusively by American Snowmobiler. The gates for the event open at 8am and the event begins at 10am.  $7 admission per person includes parking.  Exhibits and food concessions are located inside a heated building on the grounds.  The Shootout event will occur with or without snow.
