What Do Snowmobilers Do in the Summer?

According to AmSnow surveys, 52% of snowmobilers enjoy boating most during the off-season.
For most snowmobilers, Chris Burandt excluded, there are at least four to eight months a year where we have to figure out something else to do with our free time. So what do people do?

Well, we all love statistics, and AmSnow does a lot of surveying to find out more about our readers to best satisfy your needs. You might be thinking that most snowmobilers turn to ATVs or motorcycles in the summer. However, the majority of our readers are boaters in the off-season. Statistically speaking, 52% of those surveyed listed boating as one of their favorite gigs in the summertime. That is closely followed by ATVs at 51% and motorcycles at 43% (respondents could check more than one box).

Now, I might be in trouble with the marketing brass for talking about this information, but it is interesting for us, and therefore may be interesting to you. So next time you are at a sand bar talking with boating folks, or in the bait shop, chances are the guy or gal next to you might be a snowmobiler too! Thankfully, we only have a couple short months until the snow flies again, so keep doing the snow dance while you're out on that ski-boat, motorcycle or ATV!
