    BRP Recalls Youth ATVs

    Earlier this month, BRP US of Sturtevant, Wis., recalled about 240 Youth Model Can-Am all-terrain vehicles. The company has received eight reports of the fuel filter breaking and leaking at dealerships, which poses a fire hazard. No injuries have been reported.     Ski-Doo X-Team Snocross Seminar Scheduled for 2015

    The Ski-Doo race department announced that it will host a seminar to familiarize racers with the updated 2016 MXZx 600RS snowmobile. The event will take place in Aurora, Minn., on Nov. 21, 2015, in advance of the ISOC season opener in Duluth, Minn. (Nov. 27-29). The three-hour seminar will focus on snocross sled setups and include coaching and tips from Ski-Doo factory personnel and pro race teams.     Arctic Cat Sales Drop 19.6% in Fiscal Q2

    For its fiscal 2016 second quarter that ended Sept. 30, 2015, Arctic Cat Inc. reported net earnings of $11.2 million, or $0.85 per diluted share, on net sales of $211.2 million.     Arctic Cat Adds New Member to Board of Directors

    Arctic Cat announced the election of Andrew S. Duff to its board of directors. Duff is chairman and CEO of Piper Jaffray Companies, a NYSE-listed investment bank and asset management firm.     Polaris Reports 12% Sales Gain in Q3

    Polaris Industries Inc. reported a record third quarter net income of $155.2 million for the quarter that ended September 30, 2015, an increase of 10% over the prior year’s third quarter net income of $140.8 million.     Snow totals permitting, the largest snowmobile race in the country will run for the 42nd time in 2016. The Seven Clans I-500 Winnipeg to Willmar race is scheduled to start in Winnipeg on Feb. 10, 2016, and end in Willmar on Saturday, Feb. 13.
