  • Dec. 7  Towns of Webb & Inlet Snowmobile Trails Open for the Season

     

    Mfgs.  Shootout  , snow or frozen grass, @ Woodgate NY, off RT 28,  12-11   be there b4 11am. A parking fee,  good food and hot drinks.

     American Snowmobiler Adirondack Shootout - Manufacturers' Challenge at the White Otter Fish & Game Club in Woodgate. Gates open at 8am and competitions begin at 10am.  Admission charged.  Sponsored by American Snowmobiler Magazine.

     

    and Old Forge @ the pavillion Fri - Sun. test rides  if there is snow.

    Dec. 11-13 33rd Annual Snodeo - Snodeo is the “kick-off” weekend for the 2009/2010 snowmobile season. On Friday morning, watch the exciting Snowmobile Manufacturer’s Challenge in Woodgate, NY, and then Snodeo will be open 3pm-7pm. On Saturday, Snodeo will be open from 10am until 5pm. There will be seminars scheduled, and the 120cc races for our next generation of snowmobilers. Take a chance to win a new snowmobile of your choice from 4 models offered, along with cash prizes and many other giveaways. Top off the evening with our spectacular fireworks display. On Sunday, Snodeo will be opened from 10am until 2pm, with the snowmobile raffle drawing at 1pm.   • Snodeo for riding is usally hit or miss...I always stay at the Headwaters in Boonville...Over there you could just take your car or truck to the Shoot-Out witch is just down the road...For riding I usally trailer to Tug Hill...Park at "C" ville or go up to the High Market Inn.Most likely you won't get a 100 mile ride in but 40 to 50 is better than staying home...Old Forge and Inlet get pretty beat up Sno Deo weekend..There's only been a handfull of years over my 40yrs of riding that riding anywhere in that area has been perfect..Have fun..

  • Dude..2:20 am and looking at the radar thru Tug Hill and Old Forge...WOW..!!!! This will be a HISTORIC snowfall for early December..!!!  Barns Corners over 3ft and snowing real hard..!! Old Foge is getting it too..!!!!   Have fun and be SAFE...!!! You could ride anywhere...Big Smile
