There was no PS 1000 it was pro mod 1000 and Jeremy Hannen on the new O'Hara turbo cat was dominant running in the 4.20's most of the weekend.

Congrats to Ohara's new Promod sled as it Dominated the field. It is pretty sad that there was no PS1000 class. In realitity there is not many new guys coming into this sport and with the PS1000 not being competitive in the ProMod class the PS1000 class will die very shortly. Its no wonder no one from the east coasty came to the haydays. From what I can tell if you have a PS1000 you will have to go to the east coast states to race. I know of one racer who says he wont go back to the haydays with out PS1000 and after seeing the Promod kick all the PS sleds. I cant blame him at all.

I understand what you are saying. But I still have a sweet spot for the PS1000 class. These guys have a lot of coin wrapped up in them with out a doubt. They are not worth much with out a class to run in. Next year they can be Classic Prostock1000 and let them run again. I did see a classic PS or IMP 700 at the Haydays and it was a 94 ZR700. They even anounced as classic 700 or something along that lines.
