have you tried bruce ? we have contacted him , we use those pistons , ? does he respond ?
Am in the same boat looking for 91mm pistons for 1400psi,he keeps telling me he will have pistons in a week or so.Anybody tried Venolia??Wiseco said they would make them but need min.order of 20 or 25.
psi is now selling carbs for harley davidsons for around a grand a piece. they've been smoothed over by r&r cycle and actually the newest versions from the feedback are getting good results, although the consumers who bought the earier versions aren't too happy.
hooper has 91 mm. wiseco pistons.
wiseco told us a minimum of 5 , they also cant be an exact duplicate , i was going to bump from 89mm to 90mm , although the higher number you buy the lower the cost per. bruce has them done in quantaties , when he runs out he unfortunatly waits till a certain number of them are needed . there is a guy i know who has the 88.82's , but they are not new , he switched to another piston type , not sure what he switched to or if they required port changes , because i know he altered the pipes and porting to make it spin higher , bruce has all his pistons coated , we got one strait from wiseco a few years ago un-coated , 100 bucks cheaper , still in the motor..lol
I scratched PSI out of my book 15 yrs ago. Same story today and now with that explanation it makes sense.
n2oronANY ONE KNOW WHY IT TAKES 6 MONTH'S TO GET A PISTON FROM THIS COMPANY FOR ONE OF THERE MOTORS ? HE 11 , HURT A PISTON AND YOUR DONE FOR THE SEASON , NOT TO MENTION THE ONE WE SENT WITH THE CYL. You can say whatever you want a about Bruce. His cylinders work real good too! He stuck me for over $10,000.00!
gramps , i caught bruce in the spring before tar , he had just gotton a batch from wiseco , his pistons are obviously custom units that he has a patent on , i believe the ones in my 1200 are inflated polaris rmk 800 replicas , you cannot get them directly from wiseco , its a big no, no, even if they had one sitting there , its bruces. the frustrating thing for me was , i dumped 3 grand into this motor last spring to make it fresh , the 1st new crank i got was out of phaze , had to send it back and the 2nd was perfect , two cyls plated wouldnt pump up like the original cyl by a long shot , i put off doing anything about it knowing it wasnt going to harm it running it , it was points season , but even though you pay to have this stuff done right , 1/2 the time it isnt , 3 grand to fresh'n a motor and you get an out of phaze crank and out of round cyls, the crank was made good free of charge , now i'm gonna have to re-pay to have the cyls re-plated , its almost like a crapshoot wich technision you get to work on your stuff , the trail tech or the race tech , if this was a trail sled joe shmow wouldnt even notice , the cyls are why i havent sprayed it since last winter , they dont seal the power even on the motor to the tune of 3mph down in 660 and 1320 , e-t was slow by 3 tenth's , frustrating after a three thousand dollar tune up.

Bruce K. cylinders are awesome. he stuck me for over $10,000.00 US dollars. Back when we were making reeds for him!
his motors make serious power and the workmanship is 2nd to none, the custom stuff is a pain the ars and the walet though, as far as availability and cost.
In all fairness to Bruce... He took a $300K+ hit from Scorpion when they decided to file bankruptcy. Very difficult at best to survive from something like the from something like this!
