If I wanted to race against a bike I would have built one!! I want to race against another sled with the same cc's and weight as my own, heads up to see who has the right tune up for that track on that day!
If I was going to bracket race a sled and looking to win rounds, I would run a stocker without any go fast parts so it would be consistent, not fast. Bracket racing is running the same number over and over and over! If the sled doesn't run real good you just change your dial, you don't have to be fast to win.
Grass racing is all about being the fastest or quickest that day. If your lucky to make it past the first round you need to tune, not change you dial!
Drag racing is HEADS UP side by side racing, always has been, always will be!! You don't see NHRA bracket racing on Sunday do you, I didn't think so. You don't see nascar penalize Jeff Gordan OR Dale Earnhart for breaking out or running a faster lap! I don't think so. Bracket racing, you lose for being faster than your dial, and you walk away sad and mad. If DRAG RACING and running faster than you did earlier in the day ,your a happy tuner/racer and walk away feeling real good.
I'm done for now, I need a beer!
