Track looks good - got little precip here in Central Mane. Plowed off the 1 inch accumluation we got and we are good to go. Plenty off ice - over a foot. Looking forward to a great race this weekend.
Hey ladies & gentleman looks like a good race format. Wondering if you have a vintage class for the radar run. I have a fast 1973 cheetah 440,hope the cleats stay on.
What a coincidence! I have 1973 cheetah 440 too! It is smokin fast. You bring yours, I'll bring mine and we can do an exhibition race, how's that sound?
Hey this is great! Count me in I will be on my Panther!
That is one sweet ride! And runs smooooooooooooooth! Not sure the Cheetah can compete with it if the boys don't do some work on it! River City Rocker, can you get my sled runnning :(
Just wanted to let everyone know that the conditions are excellent, and the weather looks great for the weekend. With over 15 inches of hard ice and a forecast of partly sunny skis and temps in the low 20's, it will be perfect for two days of racing in Newport.
The 1000 ft. radar run on Saturday will be run on a half mile track, opposite the 660 ft. drag racing track, which has over 1500 ft. of shut down for Sunday.
There will be concessions and restroom facilities on site.
Come on out, support your local racing and the Pine Tree Camp.
