Two Great Jobs this weekend- Good racing

A tip of the hat to the Copenhagen NY Fire department drill team for putting a fine race on Friday night. They worked hard after losing almost all their snow due to the rain and warm up a week prior. Many hours of volunteer work went into getting the track into really fine condition.

Well run, well attented and everyone went away happy.

Saturday the Outlaw Shootout was held in Turin NY.

Thanks to Russ the landowner and Jerry Rice race promoter the show went smoothly with delays only to groom the track on occasion. The weather was great for spectators but could have been a littlle cooler for the racers.

There was obviously cooperation from the Snow Ridge Ski Area with use of their parking lot and their large groomer.

Another well run and well attended event.

    MY GREATEST FEAR!

As I lay on my death bed my wife is typing away on the computer selling all my prized possessions on E-Bay for what I told her I paid for them!

Lynn, I figured you would be there, must of missed you in the big crowd.

Thoroughly enjoyed the racing Saturday by all @ Snow Ridge. Those Outlaw sleds are crazy fast!

I agree, Mother Nature dealt warm temps so the track conditions didn't hold up and had to be groomed often, which I welcomed. With the speeds the Outlaw sleds were doing its a no-brainer...

Maybe I'll see you and your crew sometime this season.

Hi Dave. Great hearing from you.

There was quite a crowd. We stood pretty still as we had pretty good spots to see the racing.

We're getting the Mod sled ironed out. It's starting to work pretty well. Some wholesale changes.

I'm sure we will be up there doing some testing. The conditions around here aren't good.

Is Russ going to host the track again this year?
