I'm finally going to go ride a snowmobile in February :-) It will be a 2006 ski doo renegade 600sdi. Something I learned about earlier this evening that could be a significant consideration is throttle thumb fatigue. Using some sort of spring hand grip exercise device regularly for a month or more in advance would probably have been the best approach, but it's too late for that at this point. There are a number of things that look like they might be able to help though, like: Snobunje Throttle Flare, Thumbuddy Throttle Extender, MadDog GearATV Thumb Assist Control, Throttle Gizmo, CruiseMate, and probably others. It will be the sled a friend is letting me ride so there can be no drilling holes or any of that, but he said other people who ride very rarely have that same problem when they ride for an extended period of time. Can anyone suggest which if any of the above mentioned, or something not mentioned, could help me with this ride and be something I could leave with him to help other people in the future?
Thank you for any help with this!
