    a couple of polaris questions
Posted by BRAAAP442 on Saturday, March 17, 2007 1:38 PM
I have a 2002 xc 600 with 12,000 miles on and have never really done anything to it except routine maintenance and a new track. The compression is fine and it still runs with or beats all of my friends 600's. I think i'm going to run it till she has a problem or i start to lose compression. Is this a good idea or not? Also the seat is pretty beat out on it and i'd like a boss seat but i can get a used RMK or PRO X seat much cheaper. It looks like these seats would be firmer and sit up a little higher. Is this true and will they fit on my XC? I have a bar riser and have found a '05 RMK 800 seat but i don't want to buy it if it wont fit. The rear heater hose may get in the way. And finally are the new 600 & 700 CFI motors as reliable and long lasting as my old 600? My dad gets 15mpg with his new 600 CFI what does the 700 CFI get? Is there alot of extra maintenance on the walker evans clickers compared to the ryde fx shocks? I know this is an earful but thank you in advance! Matt
