    for crank shop 54mm  a .5 is leaner then a1.0 or 1.5 less air correct so the .5 will raise the idel ? compared to a .7 or 1.0 correct

    .5 is less air which equals richer condition.  look through the jet.  small number = small hole = small air flow = richer condition.  Bigger number = bigger hole = bigger air flow = leaner condition.  hope this helps.
