    Can the stock rear skid be lowered with short shocks rather than strapping down? Is there a kit or idea for this? Just starting off with some recreational ice dragging for now.

    If it is a sc10 it is easy to put a strap in the back run it find out what it likes before you permanently lower it.

    Its off a 2002 summit chassis ! So i believe it is sc10

    yes you can shorten the shocks or use shorter shocks,just compress the suspension to your target hieght and measure your shock length from bolt to bolt.there are alot of cheap shock options to use to get it where you want it. Todd guthrie @dyna-tek performance
