    Skidoo Engine Stopper

I hate this feature on my 2016 Skidoo 600 e-teck. In the bumps while going slow, the constant stopping of the engine everytime you let off the throttle is very annoying. I have checked the adjustment and its right on.

Of course with the lousy winter we just went thru, the sled only has 152 miles on it.

Will it get better as I get more miles on ?

Can I completely remove the Engine Stopper and let it free wheel and not hurt or cause any other problems ?

My dealer never heard on anyone wanting to disconnect or remove this feature and does'nt know if there is any harm in its removal.

Ive been riding sleds for 46 years and never needed a Engine Stopper before.

    Thanks  Ron

Want to thank Amsnow for researching my answer.  Its the ECM (computer) that stops the engine every time you let up on the throtte. Not what I thought was an engine stopper.  This device keeps the engine in place when the primary cluch and the driven cluch are pulling the belt down.  I was told that it should be less apparent as the sled gets through the break in period.  I think I'm there as I now have 400 miles on it.  It still breaks but not as bad.  This is a gas and oil saving feature of the e tec engine.  I get 24 MPG.  Not to shabby. I'm happy so far.

    Thanks again to Amsnow.  Ron
