How is this new 800 H.O. holding up? Is it performing as good as the dyno indicated? I've heard it needs more than 91 octane to see the full potential, is that true?

I HAVE A 2010 CROSSFIRE 8 AND JUST PUT A SNOWSTUFF CAN ON. MAN DID THAT HELP ALOT . HAVE 1300 MILES AND THAT SLED IS FAST AND FUN.    P.S. OH YEA IT SOUNDS GREAT TOO. SOME TIMES I CAN'T GET 91OCTANE BUT IT STILL ROCKS.    LOVE THIS SLED.

    Have you raced anything yet?
    Apex? Renegades? ...?

I have a 05 Firecat 600 with a D&D clutch kit and a 09 Crossfire R 800  stock , with 153 studs. My 600 has 92 studs. I would say the 600 runs very good.It will beat older 700 &800 sleds. But there is no comparison between the two. The 800 really runs & handles better then the Firecat and is almost the same weight. The 2010 800 has about 15 more HP.Stick out tongue

any good speedo or radar readings yet?

I get anywhere from 110 to 115mph on 1000 ft on my 06 firecat.
best was 117mph but conditions were too perfect!

Pretty pumped to see the 2010 800 in action!
