    Make a zr900 turn better?

Have an 04 zr900 efi its not the cross country model. like to get it to turn better. pushed going in to the corners. stock besides 192 studs and a goodwin clutch kit. The preload is cranked all the way down and it still seems a bit soft compared to our zl600 which is one of the best handling trail sleds ive ever ridden. it'll run circles around the 900 in the tight stuff

Your front limiter straps should be adjustable. Tighten them EVENLY a couple turns on each side and try that. That'll lift the front of the track a little, and put more pressure on the skis. Go a little bit at a time, and see if that does the trick.

I could try that. i was also thinking of backing off the preload to see if itll roll over on each side to get more side bite

You've probably already checked them but what shape are your front runners in?  If you get some big duel carbides that might help.
