    Alright guys, I need some help.. I have 93 EXT with about 8000 miles on it. It started bogging and running weak on one cylinder. I did a compression check and it was low, so I rebuilt the top end. I also figured since I was rebuilding it I would replace the coil in case it was weak. Now after the rebuld it is still doing the same thing. The rt cylinder is not getting spark all the time, could it be the CDI? I'm stumpped and we have snow coming and I'm heading to the UP in two weeks so I need to get this thing running. Any feedback will be helpful...

    carbs are clean? if so, time to check the stator. its not typical for twins to eat stators but it has been 8000 miles.... maybe try to PM blaine he probably has the ohm specs so you can test it.

    Got one in the garage right now and what a headache.  I think this one is a 95 tho.  First we had no spark- stator was bad. had it rewound. Now we have been chacing the electrical around for the fuel pump.  fuse box doesnt work right but its got power. had a lose ground somewhere so now its got the right power but fuel pump still wouldnt kick on.  ordered a relay from carquest becuase the one we tested was weak and arctic cat doesnt make them anymore. they want you to buy the new wiring harness. that wasnt it. but if we run a jumper wire it works. For yours i would check your injectors. make sure there not clogged.  see if your pullin the right voltage for the fuel pump. your stator could be going bad or your one spark plug coil could be going bad.  I got a question for you. when your sled is running is your fuel pump running constantley? we were told that it stays on and has a pressure valve that goes back to the tank. seems right. let me know.

    Thanks for the input guys, I checked out Blain's you tube video on checking the stator and that seems to be the problem. I'm going to send it out to him to rewind and hopefully that takes care of my problem.

    Really appreciate the help.
