I am not an authority on the years but I think that the eairlier arms arms are different because in 2000 thousand they started using those inboard mounted arms which is under the sled and inside about two inches but the eairlier ones were mounted on the outside edge of the belly pan this would make the angle where the radius rods bolt in at the arm different by a couple of degrees. hope this helps a little. I can almost for sure say that an arm from 96,97,98 would not work " properly".
