    Can a 600CFI be converted to a 700CFI?

Just melted a piston on my 600CFI for the second time. AAAAARGH!!!

Wondering if maybe I can upgrade it to a 700CFI? My buddy bought his 700 Dragon the same year as mine and has had zero problems.

I'm guessing no, because the 700 has a slightly longer stroke, but I would still like to hear an expert opinion. If I could find a complete motor (700CFI) would it bolt right in to my 07 IQ?

I would contact SLP, they have 600 and 700 big bore kits. Is this the first meltdown and in how many miles?

No, It stuck the mag side at less than a 1,000mi. Now it melted the pto side at around 3,500mi.

This fuel injected sled has now burned down more than any carbed sled I've owned!

I hope the dealer/Polaris finds a problem and fixes it. This is frustrating when you get the feeling you can no longer trust your sled to get you home and the mfr. doesn't have a solution.

What year CFI 600 is this? Is this sled completely stock?

    It's a 07 600CFI, bone stock other than a SLP can.

I'm just glad I bought more warranty after the first burn down. The dealer did the most current re-flash after that. Maybe their is another re-flash for the 600 since then?

My hunch is Polaris is just still running too lean of a fuel map for this 600. I've heard aftermarket guys say they don't even recommend running a fuel programmer for the 600 because they already come plenty lean from the factory. Maybe I should buy the programmer to richen it up!

Does SLP offer the 660 kit for the CFI? I'm going to call them tomorrow but I didn't see one on their site. If they do have a 660 for the CFI I'll bet you would need a programmer too.
