    D8 - Operating temps
Posted by big bore stock iq on Thursday, January 21, 2010 11:22 AM

I have a 09 IQ 800, last year while riding my temp guage stayed 126 degrees most the time, after the updates while riding in decent snow, the temp. varied between 126 to as high as 159. Just wondering what I should look at as to high. When the sled hit the 159 mark i would get off the trail and hammer it in the deep snow which would bring the temp down, but it would jump back up rather quickly. Don't know if this is because of the difference in head design or not. Any comments would be appreciated.
