BUDDY HAS 98 XC 600 TWIN, HE LOVES THE SLED AND WANTS IT FASTER.  WHAT IS THE LARGEST STOCK POLARIS CYLINDER CAN BE BOLTED ON?? IS THE OLD NON VES 800 BUILT ON THE SAME "BIG BLOCK" CASE??

ANYBODY HAVE THE OLD HTG 800CC SETUPS FOR THIS MOTOR FOR SALE?

    THANKS

The only larger "stock" cylinders that are a direct bolt-on are from the 700 twin - either  VES or non-VES will fit.  If you're willing to mod the cases, then whatever big bore setup went onto the 700 will fit the 600 as well.

    orville thanks

we found a 98 xc 700 motor with the 220 cylinders, we may bolt into the "600" chassis, i assume the only "electrical" item to be changed should be the cdi box?

The CDI box is the only thing that "needs" changed.  I will mention though that if you're going to run twin pipes, some guys actually preferred the 600 module - it had a bit less timing on top end.  If you're having trouble finding a 700 module (the best ones would be the '97 XC/RMK, or the newer RMK modules) you could just advance the stator a bit and run the 600 module.
