    I just had the dealer put in 162 1.5 lake racer stud boys,  I believe the Switchback come with tunnel protection.  He said that is the set up on 90% of the sleds out the door.

    162 studs are too many if you ride a lot of groomed trails.  That many will make any sled hard to turn on snow packed trails and will wear you down as you add on miles especially in the twisties.   I have had several machines with 136" tracks and learned this by experience.  Stud makers like to sell studs, the more the better.
