    Pol prostock vs Doo prostock
Posted by tripplec on Friday, May 25, 2012 11:59 AM

I am thinking of building a 700 prostocker. I hear that the doo 700 tripple is better because you can stroke the crank , debore it and it will have more torque and HP than the xcr 700. I hear that the xcr 700 does not work well with the crank stroked. Is there anyone out there that has a xcr 700 prostock that can give me some info on this. Around here as long as the engine makes 700cc's after the bore and stroke you are in the prostock class. A stroked crank vs a non stroke crank is still in the same class.

Any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated..........

not to brand bash but look around and see what's racing the class.  most 700ps are doos that are stock stroke.

Contact HTG (hot to go) and they do pretty good with XCR700 setups. Problem with triples now that no one runs them as much like as they use to WL

Thanks for the reminder on Doug Flannery - he does wonders on Polaris triples. There are others out there that are very good too.  HTG wasnt good in the beginning but they have improved over the years. WL
