I have a 1986 polaris indy 400 snowmobile that i just took out the other day for our first snow storm. It was running great for the first hour great throttle response and everything then it all of a sudden just cut out and wouldnt start back up. we waited 15 minutes let it cool down andt sprayed starting fluid so we wouldnt pull it a million times it started back up and ran good for the other half of the trip. then on our way back about an hour hour and a half did the same thing again cut out and wouldnt start until cooled down abotu fifteen 20 minutes later and sprayed starting flud. i have a good idea of what it is but want your guys opinion i think its the coils eating up and shutting down what do you guys think?
