    2008 Renegade Windshield Question
Posted by almighty on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 9:14 AM

I'm a recent Doo convert and purchased a 2008 Renegade 600.  I love the machine but I freeze my *** off on it.  The stock windshield is too short and the cold air hits me square in the face causing it to be quite uncomfortable at trail speeds as the air blows in under my full face helment.  I've resorted to stuffing and layering scarfs around my neck trying to block the air but sometimes the air still gets through.  No fun when it's below zero!

Before sinking $200 into these things I'd like to get some feedback from users.  Has anyone used Doo's taller windshields?  Do they block the air sufficiently?  What about the little deflectors that mount on the sides of the windshield and on top of the hood - do they work?  Thanks!

I own a 2008 MXZ Renegade  with 9400 miles. Taller windshield and deflectors are the way to go.
