My headlight keeps blowing on my sled and the tail lights no longer work either.I think it's the voltage regulator but I can't find it.Can anybody tell me where the regulator is on my sled and how to check it.Any help would be very much appreciated.Thank you

I had the same problem. Couldn't get any help finding that regulator, so I finally took my machine to a mechanic.  He showed me where the regulator is located--just look below the magneto housing, not on the motor, but down on the floor under the motor. It's bolted flat down on the frame.  If yours is like mine, it is so dirty that it just blends in. Look real hard. The mechanic admitted he didn't find it right away. He took the magneto cover  off, looking for it. That made it more visble and easier to get at, but was not necessary.
