Forest service undertakes signing changes

The U.S. Forest Service is undertaking the task of creating new sign standards for snowmobile and OHV trails. The International Association of Snowmobile Administrators have joined forces with the Forest Service and have requested them to do a Stopping Distance Study. The Forest Service is currently seeking money from your state trail programs to fund this study. The Forest Service is requesting contributions of no less than $10,000 to participate.

Do you know if your state is participating?

These new guidelines could have drastic changes on the signing of all trails in your state.

The time to get involved is NOW. Contact your State Trails Administrator today!
