Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper was scheduled to speak at the International Snowmobile Congress in Summerside, Prince Edward Island on Friday, according to the CBC.ca.

Harper was scheduled to speak to the 500 delegates from major snowmobiling areas around the world at the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations awards ceremony at noon on Friday.

"It's unclear if Harper will be making any announcements while on the island. The visit comes a day after the federal Conservatives unveiled their second quarterly economic progress report," reported the CBC.ca.
