N.Y. state snowmobile trail web map now available |

Mohawk Valley Geographic Information Systems has created an interactive snowmobile trail web map of New York.
"Our interactive web map makes it easy to zoom in on a trail section of interest and print a map. Find lodging and dining establishments, gas stations, dealers and much more within a distance of a particular trail. Numerous search options are provided. Easily plan an entire day's outing" said a representative on the NY Snowmobile Trail Webmap Web site.
According to the site, the information comes from local participating clubs and the NY State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
The map comes with a search engine to help in finding local lodging, dining, dealers and more. In addition, there is a section to search for local club trails.
