Yamaha has voluntarily recalled 2,500 of its 2009 FX10 (commonly known as the Nytro and Nytro XTX) snowmobiles due to a potential steering hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
According to USPSC's websites, a bolt in the right front A arm can loosen in the suspension / steering system. This could result in the sudden loss of steering control and poses a risk of injury or death to riders.
There have been no incidents or injuries reported.
The models affected by this recall are:
| Model Name | Model Number |
| FX Nytro |
FX10Y |
| FX Nytro XTX |
FX10XTY |

These snowmobiles were sold nationwide from June 2008 to January 2010 for between $10,000 and $11,000, the USPSC reports.
