MSD sponsors NSA's Pro Snowmobile Stock Race

The National Speed Association (NSA) Pro Stock Asphalt Snowmobile series announced  Autotronic Controls Corporation (also known as MSD) will be sponsoring the NSA Pro Stock race on August 7, 2010 at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire.

There will be a $3000 purse up for grabs in the Pro Stock class and the Powersports Group at MSD will be awarding a MSD 75301 Digital-7 Programmable ignition to the event winner.

The MSD Programmable ignition is very popular among the NSA Pro Stock asphalt sleds with its ease of use and controllability. The MSD digital ignition allows teams to program a specific timing curve for the motor which can easily be customized based on the situation.

MSD Ignition is a supporter in all forms of racing.  When asked what prompted him to support the NSA Pro Stock Asphalt series, Mike Sharp, Head of MSD Powersports said "At MSD we love anything that goes fast and makes a lot of noise.  Asphalt Snowmobile racing certainly qualifies."

Working with the NSA Professional Asphalt series has shown proven results for MSD.  "We've added one more category of racing to be involved with and one more category of racing to sell professional quality racing components into".
