NSSR has a schedule of four races starting on January 17th in McGregor Minnesota and including races in Forest Lake, Mn., Menomonie, Wi., and Annandale Mn.

Two tracks, one for the pro and one for the fun run side.

Classes for Vintage Sleds and four wheelers.

Registration begins at 8 AM and Racing is from 10 PM to 4 PM.

Sleds that run over 170 mph and full body sleds in the 150's!

Glad to see NSSR back again. Look forward to competing again.

Great he points at every sled and says OOOOOOOW!  He takes up a lot of time so I don't get out to the garage as much as I would like.  How's everything going with you?

 Rumor has it there is going to be a lot of out of area racers coming to McGregor. Be interesting to see all the sleds that will be running....

What is an out of area racer?

Fast out of area racer.

 Out of area is the out of Minnesota group of fast racers. This area by the Twin Cities has some the fastest people in the nation.

NSSR is the only World Record Series for 1000 foot speed runs promoting Competition on a National Basis. We maintain the ISR umbrella and Affiliation.

Why are we different? We strive for Excellence and Safety. Our Tracks and electronic system are second to none. We have a stringent Tech for the professional track and world record series. We provide the place for fast sleds to go fast!

It has been typical that Minnesota has had a great core group of fast racers. We are changing that!

I know that is changing with racers attending our events from Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Dakotas, and I expect the Canadians to start to attend.

I am fired up, and I know it will raise the level of competition! I expect to see 170 mph speeds on a regular basis for 2009.
