"Stepped it off?" If I send you guys a 100' tape, would somebody tell us how much shutdown you really have? 1800 only leaves 1140 to stop. Can't drive 12 hours to find out we can't stop the sled. I'm kind of suprised with all the insurance regs that there isn't a mandatory shutdown length.

Hey Craig Langs, what's this I read in your Vintage Rules for the World Series.  No open stingers???  Come on are you for real???  Loud pipes save lives.  Not only that, but open stingers is what Vintage is all about. Please let my know if I have to change my pipes to play with you guys!

 Hey now, Blame that one on the DNR... I love the sound of open stingers.  My wife says all those years of firing race sleds in the garage is the reason  why I don't hear so well anymore.  Like any married man, I'll roll with that excuse !   MMR

I just finished my 2nd night on the tail end of the track tonight. I will wheel off tomorrow morning (on pavement that is exactly parralell to track )& give you fellas an exact foot tomorrow night.  I have also stepped a measurment off, your normal length of pace is pretty darn accurate.  I do understand the importance to you Out Law Pro Mods so I will tell you precisely how much ice (length).  FYI beyond the ice is also vacant land no woods, dead ends, or leathal stops. Again, Thank You Guys for your continued interest & support.

Hi Im still waiting to hear what you guys considered stock.I wana race but just dont know what its considered. I just got a MBRP trail can on my 800. Is it considered stock or mod? If its mod I dont wana race cause I dont have money put into it. Thanks hope to hear from you soon.

What did you say??  Couldn't hear you, I must be deaf too!!  lol  Well as long I can keep clear of the DNR I should be OK.  If not, I got a set of ear plugs for em'!  Unless of course you are telling me race officals won't even let me to the line.  I plan on racing at Port Huron, so if Tim Ainsworth reads this, I need to know if I have to change pipes to race.  Hopefully not, will have to retune and be VERY disappointed with the looks and sound of my sled.  I mean, isn't there bigger fish to fry than me and my little vintage 440 with open stingers????  Thanks!!!

 Ok, . All I can say is , "What goes on in Port Huron stays in Port Huron".

As far as the Vintage at the WS its no open stingers... .We have probably 60 + Vintage entries coming from our circuit all mufflerized. So I have to ask myself, do I want one racer mad at me or 60.  Most people will tell you there is no loss in performance adding a (muffler) ..  If that is what you call it to get past tech.   All you really need to do is just extend a 2 1/2'  tube over your existing stinger & about 1 1/2 inch past it   That takes the crack sound out of it . ( a dirty little secret you just got me to put in print) Now I'm probably in trouble !! MMR
