JUST TO LET EVERYONE WHO MIGHT BE INTERSTED KNOW , WE BROUGHT THIS SLED TO A LOCAL GRASS DRAG /RADAR RUN IN HONESDALE PA ON SUNDAY, LAST MINUTE NO SETUP TIME DIDN T EVEN CHANGE JETS     (LAST TIME IT RAN WAS MARCH) AT TANGLEWOOD

        WON FASTEST SLED OF THE DAY ON RADAR

I guess that depends on your defenition of fast. Yes this sled won, but there is more to the story there!!! The wak pak sled red-lighted big time. The runs were started similar to most other races started without lights. Starter points to each racer to verify they are ready, each racer gives a nood, the starter raises his hands and once the hands drop down to his legs, you go. Well the wak pak sled left the line on either the up swing or as the starter began top drop his hands, but regardless he red-lighted. The other guy left the line when the starter dropped his hands as he should have. This guy was running an old polaris 800 tripple. Well this old polaris tripple just about ran down the wak pak sled in 500', and had to make up a good 3+ sleds in the process.   

 Actually if im not mistaken once the flagger so much as even twitches his hands on a downward motion YOU GO... its been that way with every race I have been to and is the general standard. Any way you look at it though this sled is a NASTY piece I see it all winter long at the Hillclimbs and if you want a winning edge heres the chance to buy it!  See you boys on the hill

i think you are replying to the wrong race! that race with the red light was between the mach z 1000 and the xcr.the race with the wak pak sled and the xcr, the xcr took off first with the wak pak sled making up sled lengths and got the win.not to take anything from the xcr it runs real good i am personal friends with both of them and both run realy well.you need to get the facts straight before you post something like that.

At the NEPAST/RADAR RUN at the Daniels Farm on 19 JUL 09 drivers meeting AND on the line........we were instructed 'to go' when the starters hands hit/touched his sides.....not on the flinch, fall or mid way.......when they hit or touched his sides!

reguardless the wak pak sled did not red light on the xcr. it was the black mach z that red lighted the xcr

FIRST OFF ZR862  I WOULD NEVER NEVER POST A WIN LIKE THAT BUD. AND I DO WANT AN APOLOGY FOR YOUR MISTAKE.   MY SLED WAS THE YELLOW ONE WITH 98 ON THE SIDE AND WAS LOUD AND HAD WAK PAK ON IT...././.. NOT THE BLACK MACH Z.                                                                          SINCE YOU REMBER SO GOOD, YES THE BLACK MACH Z RED LIGHTED AND THEY DID BRING BACK THE  XCR  TO RACE ME THE YELLOW SKIDOO WITH 98 ON THE SIDE AND WAS LOUD AND HAD WAK PAK ON IT   AFTER  HE LET THE XCR COOL.   

   SO PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING AND RETRACT YOUR WRONG STATEMENT I REALLY DON T CARE ABOUT THE SLEDS REPUTATION     WHAT I DO CARE ABOUT IS MY REPUTATION

I stand to be corrected, you are right!!! I checked some pictures, no idea what the heck I was thinking??? With the $$$ into that wak pak sled, it better be out running trail sleds. How does it do on the hills?
