Ken Smith racing ran a 8.16 in qualifying on there Dennis Mott tuned Apex. They were consistently in the low 8' and look to have found something. I'm sure they'll be into the 7's soon. Great job!
Mike Komisar's king of trail class sled (rx1) went 8.28 in qualifying and made it to the semi's. It was piloted by Howard Haack. They were also in the low 8's all day. Pretty impressive for being the fourth or fifth time out on the asphalt. Good Job guys!
Petchke's prostock sled also went into the low 8's with I believe a 8.27. He seems to be very consistent. Would have been a very close in the first round between him and Howard Haack but he red light to give the win to Howard. Still a great showing.
One Stop seemed to have some problems putting all the power they're making to the track. He's making some big power, it looked like the top fuel dragsters when they get into a pedal match. Hopefully they get the traction issue resolved and are able to harness all the power being made. Its not for lack of effort as them boys were working hard.
Dunnigan Racing seemed to have the same traction issue also, didn't see to many of they're runs to be honest though. They're getter figured out for sure.
All and all it was a great show and I enjoyed being a spectator all night!
