How do you check a CDI timing curve?

I would like to check the actual timing in some of the CAT CDI boxes. What would be the best way/method to check the timing on a sled?

Wanted: Dead Arctic Cat Stators. All Types. PM Me.

Hmmmmmmmm......I'd like to know too!!!!  But..........it sounds like 'rocket science' to me. I can't imagine being able to graph a chart with out a dyno and some 'hi-tek' cabling, sensors and a PC with a custom program to do so.

Yea - I've done it with a timing light with an advance dial.
