Snowmobile Racing

WOODYS HILL DRAG SERIES is BACK and will run our first of approx. a 7 race series at Brantling ski slopes in Sodus N.Y. on Dec.19th.Registration will be 9:30 til 1:30 in the lodge with racing starting at 3:00 pm. As always at ALL Black Jack Racing events the payback will be 100% of the entry fees going back to the racers!!!! There was a rumor floating around that I was going to shuffle purse money out of stock and trail improved and move a portion of the money generated in these classes into Promod classes-This is NOT true!! All purse money from each class will be returned to that classes entries.That is how it has been done in the past and will not change . As you can see we have a renewed commitment from WOODYS TRACTION PRODUCTS to be our title sponsor which we are very proud of.They will be providing us a substantial amount contingency prizes (product certificates,woodys duffle bags and other gear)to be given out throughout all the race classes!!!!!! Myself and WOODYS both have a serious commitment to the entry level classes and intend to promote the grass roots history of this sport! I am working to boost Pro mod class purses but not by pulling money from other classes ,but by working with new sponsors for added purse for these classes , but with the economy the way it is im not making any promises yet.All B.J.R events will be running the new I.S.R rules and listed classes. Which include;STOCK 500,600,700,800,900,1000-TRAIL IMPROVED 500,600,700,800,900,1000,Stock snopro 600 and under -Stock snopro 600 and over- Mod sno pro600 and under-Mod snopro 600 and over PROMOD 500,600,700,800,900,1000- KING OF THE HILL 1000 cc naturally aspirated - OPEN KING OF THE HILL  which allows 2000 cc and one power adder.Better hold on when these boys hit the line!!!!

I will be posting more info on B.J.R upcoming events as I have signed contracts for all the other scheduled races!!

Thanks Jerry for the offer! It would be a whole new concept for two somewhat competetive organizations working together to provide good race venues with CONSISTANT rules for all competitors to go by.

Just a dummys question, Dave. I see stock snopro is 600 and under. Does that mean the 440 snopros have to run with the 600 snopros?

That is the way we set it up in the rule book because the # of 440s have been going down but we have room built into our program to adjust to the sleds that show up via write in classes. we are more than willing to race 2 wheelbarrows if you bring them and you think you can make it to the top of the hill!!!! So see the girls at registration to sign up for 440 snopro class and if there are at least 2 entries we will run the class.

DAVE CAN WE RUN HIGH COMPRESSION HEADS AND RACE GAS IN TRAIL MOD?

I have  the ability to check fuel but probably wont,but there is a 155 # compression limit for trail improved. Stock and trail imp.as I said before are trail sled,entry level classes for the guys that just dragged their trail sleds out of the garage. The rules were designed to TRY to keep it that way.So we will be strictly enfocring the compression rule at all B.J.R events.This rule and some other things were omitted from the book by accident as was the 137" track length rule for stock and Trail Imp. Anyone with ANY questions PLEASE call me !! I will have paperwork from I.S.R supporting these admendments to the book very shortly!!            Thanks for your question-It was a good one that was going to be discussed shortly when I got the goods from I.S.R but you speeded things by a few days !!!
