 you cant get the  ISR rules online, you need to mail them for a copy???? i hope that isnt the case?

the track rule needs to stay in affect! you can have a stock 154in sled walk all over an improver 121 or 128. it wouldt even be a race. And if i remember right stock and imp stock track lug cant be ove 1 3/8. SO mountian and sno pro sleds have to jump up.

 could someone just give me a quick lesson on chissels and how they class you? Trying to figure out if one of my sleds is even raceable

You would have to run the studded class. But chissels are not going to help you much in hill climbs....only ice or grass drags.

 I know the grass track won't be an advantage. just wonderign where it would put me

so i have a quick question is there a stud length rule or not and if so are they going to be allowed up into the mod classes with long studs

Hey jesse .glad to see your interest in this sport!!! The way the rules are written there is no stud length rule in any class as long as they are not causing damage to the tunnel. As far as the chisle studs go they are only legal in snopro and promod classes. The stock and improved trail classes are designed for legal trail sleds that guys actualy ride on the trail not purpose built race sleds! So with that said again only carbide tipped trail studs ,used as supplied by the manufacturer, are legal in these trail sled based classes. Most guys use WOODYS megabite studs which have 4 flat sides and almost act like a chisle stud-which are a huge advantage in certain snow conditions.If you have any more questions feel free to call me any time and I will try to explain any thing you need!!!!

polaris princess ,I am sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner ,but my amsnow acct. was screwed up and was unable to put up a post. If you look at some of my other posts there is a address posted where you can get the I.S.R rule book which has all the rules that we will be using at all of our events. As far as paybacks go ,100% of the entry fees generated in the class will be paid back in that class. Good news from Brantling. The owner has substantialy upgraded the parking situation over last year! This will be a huge help to all racers and spectators . I still would like racers with trailers 24 ft and up to give me a call so I can try to save you a spot in the primary parking lot in front of the lodge.
