JIACOBBE'S KING OF THE HILL DETAILS!!

New this year, Bob is having a King of the Hill event at his race on November 7th, here are the details:

$50 entry fee

Open to any sled

Sign up is from 9am-10am

Driver's meeting at 10am

this event will be held first before regular racing starts. NO PRACTICE RUNS

Safety tech is required (tether,vest,helmet,etc)

Sleds will be paired up per hat drawing / track is two lanes

Bob will match purse up to $500

Full payout will go to top winner

Tony, since the King of the Hill Race will go first before any other races how about a time trial for the King of the Hill class.? I would even consider paying an extra $20 to make a test run just to get a a few bugs out of the sled before the money run.

Very nice. Def makes it more interesting. Hope I can make it. This would be an outlaw king of the hill right? No rules except first to the line without jumping wins?  Good to see Bob kicking back some cash in it too. Very cool.

what kind of times does the ICEmans open mod run??

hope he sticks to his word he put up 500.00 2 years ago an he got beat an no 1 got payed. im in 4 the king of the hill lets set up some money for a open 600 class

Thats for sure. Its out there now, gotta be done. Not like he don't get enough through the gate to do it anyhow. I am sure he will come through this time.

Oh I don't think thats very fair. Its bobs track and he can make passes all week and be dialed into the conditions of it. I think the sleds should be allowed to make 1 practice pass to adjust to the track. with it not being all grass that could change things. I mean this class is gonna be for alot of money. Just to buy in isn't just a cpl bux. Which is fine cause it builds a nice big purse but let everyone get a shake at the track first. Just my .02. His track his race his rules I suppose.

1. BOB AIN,T IN THIS EVENT. NO TURBO YAMAHA

2. YOU ALREADY SAW PICTURES OF HIS TRACK. YOU POSTED YOURSELF HOW GREAT IT LOOKS. THAT TRACK LOOK TORN UP TO YOU ? GUY WORKED HIS *** OFF GETTING IT READY SO ITS SAFE FOR FAST SLEDS.

3. IF YOU HAVE A SLED, THATS PROBLEY SET-UP TO RUN IN THIS EVENT, FIRST YOU NEED NO PRACTICE BECAUSE YOU HAVE RACED ALL FALL SECOND, THESE SLEDS WERE DIALED IN WAY BEFORE THIS EVENT.

4. RULES WERE MADE BY BOB WITH INPUT FROM ME AND OTHERS. BASISLY HIS TRACK , HIS SHOW!!!

Hey I am by no means trying to turn anything into a pissing match or ruin the thread. I just stated my small opinion and I thought I was nice about it, wasn't trying to be a dick.  I love the idea. I am really hoping that I am not working for it this year cause I may have to go out of state this week, but no doubt am gonna do my best to be at that track by 9am sat morning. Why isn't Bob running his? Don't know what I need to call ya about. Like I said in my last post, his race, his track his rules. Can't argue that. Just questioned a cpl things.Yea last year I questioned the price. Just like every questions all prices at every race, and entry fees dadadada. Same thing every race. But please don't put it out there like all I do is moan and groan and dont show to races. I made an observation last year and unfortunately I was out of state working. I am sure we can all relate to that. I don't point out when people promote or say how they will be at a race and don't make it. Life, things change, plans change no biggie. Can't call due to being on a canadian plan cause of work sorry. But if someone really wants to talk to me I can make arrangements to use someones phone. Hows the weather look so far?

2. HAS TO HAVE INSURANCE ( what the hell, run with no insurance, this race is only on his property )
