Congratulations to Mott and Smith that is really getting it done and nice to see it done at an event. It is amazing how so much has been found to get these huge horsepower sleds down the track and I am not sure what is left on the table with respect to belts, tracks, etc but you surely raised the bar.

I was wondering if you could enlighten us on how many made it to Valdosta to compete and what the rest of your runs were from that days event. Thanks.

Thanks puddy as for whats left not sure. After thousands of dollars in damage from blown belts over the summer, we now have a routine that works perfect. we do have some power left on the table in the first 400ft, but may never get to apply it with out running at a national event after top fuel. AMA had qualifying on friday and saturday. On saturday morning our driver Jeff Kerridge received news that his father had a major heart attack, he needed to fly back to michigan, so we didnt run the sled sunday. we think we may have been able to run a low 7.50 in the morning, on our 7.59 pass it was 85 degrees mid afternoon. Off the top of my head i think some of the passes were 7.75-7.68-7.65-7.62-7.59 what may have been the quickest pass was our 1/2 track practice run friday at 4.87 hard to let off when your on a great pass.

So sorry to hear about your drivers father hope all is well. It is so great to see guys like your team work so hard, put so much time and money into a project and have it all pay off. You guys came to compete at Martin and were as professional and humble as they come. Kudos to you, your team and everyone involved in your sled I know it is mostly thankless and the AMA write up and article is great prompts for such a great accomplishment to you and your team.

 ps i know the feeling on the half track pass in obvioulsy a much smaller way compared to yours but we had the same thing happen to us the last time out when all we could run was 1/8 mile cause track conditions wouldnt allow 1/4. To make matters worse on both runs we did the 60 foot times did not come in.  Nothing worse then wondering what would it have been. Theres always next year lol

Puddy, thanks for your thoughts. My dad was able to come home today, and trying to regain strength. Also wanted to thank everyone for there possitive feedback and support. Hope to improve our effort for next year.( Already in the works.) And as Dennis already stated, the list is long in people that helped us to get there. We are thinking the first week in march maybe right before the ama race so we could watch the prostock sleds run.
