yes...drop the yammy ***..This forum is so far off what other forums do..IE...keep it on subject..getting so the title of the thread has nothing to do with what's being posted...just like what i'm doing here..but trying to make a point..forums are for info...blogs are for opinions,caps lock belongs on the nickalodeon site...(hint)and 2001 yammy's belong in the *** heap...along with 2000 RMK's...JMO

The only reason there are arguments on this site is people don't respect others opinions. The entire argument could have been avoided if you and rest of the people that felt compelled to bag on Tony would have respect his post and moved on. No everyone had to bag on Tony and his post.Do you or do you not recognize that??

i had an 85 v-max with a widening kit , was mint ,    hit a tree with it at 60mph   , went to the great yama hopper in the sky , and i almost did also...

i cheated in math in high school.....

did anyone see the law firm add on tv about law suits against that side by side yamy dun buggy thing ? appears people been falling out the things and rolling them over, 

back to the subject , if the shoot out was goin on back in 75 the yama 433 gpx would have won

THE REASON I BROUGHT THE 2001 SRX INTO THIS POST WAS TWO REASONS.

1. THIS CROSSFIRE 1000 WAS CROWNED '' BOX / FASTEST E.T '' CHAMP. SOMEBODY EVEN POSTED THIS. THAN THE CHEATING ISSUES STARTED. I DID NOT KNOW IF THE SRX E.T. HAD BEEN BEAT. MIGHT OF BEEN. WETHER YOU GUYS LIKE IT OR NOT, AND NO DOUBT YOU DON,T THE SRX STILL HOLD '' BOX '' ET RECORD. NOW WHO KNOWS NOBODY!! WHO CARES NOBODY !!!

2. THE SRX DID THIS CLEAN. IF THEY WERE CHEATING THAT YEAR, THEY WERE NOT CAUGHT. THE GUY BEHIND THE CROSSFIRE FIASCO POSTED THE ZR BEAT IT. WELL HE WAS WRONG.

NOW LOOK, I REALIZE YOU GUYS DON,T WANT TO HERE THIS SRX OLD STUFF, AND YES I WILL DROP IT.

 Actually there WAS a Sno-Goer Shoot-Out back in 1975 and the Yamaha did NOT win,......although it did run well. The Sno-Jet SST F/A was the quickest to 660ft as well as the 1/4 mile mark. This information can be found on page 72 of the 1975 Sno-Goer Racing Annual which I have a copy of in my possesion. The Sno-Jet was still powered by a Yamaha engine.
